FOCIR welcomed its newest member, a communications and project manager, on October 29th thanks to the European Youth Guarantee initiative promoted by the Catalan Generalitat’s Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya and the European Union to reduce youth unemployment and encourage quality employment.
The subsidy that made this hire possible, “Work-placement contracts for young graduates in search of their first professional experience,” is intended for graduates who are under 30 and provides them with 6-month long traineeships to work in city councils, county councils and non-profit organisations throughout the country.
